Dasco Clear 586 is a low foaming synthetic coolant specifically formulated for general ferrous machining and grinding applications. Dasco Clear 586 is also recommended for glass and ceramic applications.
Dasco Clear 586 forms transparent solutions in water with excellent cooling and
chip settling action and will protect machine tools and equipment from rust when used at recommended concentrations.
- Excellent cooling and lubricating properties for ferrous machining and grinding.

- Keeps machines clean and supports recycling.
- Environmental compliance; free of DEA, chlorinated paraffin, nitrite, nitrate, phenol.

Dasco Clear 586 is recommended for use in general machining such as turning, milling, and drilling at a concentration of 4% to 8%, depending on severity of operations. Ferrous grinding is normally done at concentrations of 3% to 6%. Some machining of aluminum may be performed. Contact your D. A. Stuart account manager for additional information.
Freshly machined surfaces of some aluminum alloys may be stained by Dasco Clear 586, but can be reduced by promptly washing freshly machined surfaces. The concentration of Dasco Clear 586 can easily be determined by using a refractometer
